Detailed Explanation Of Capillary Connection Method For Temperature Controller

Introduction to the Function of Thermostatic Capillary Tube
A thermostat is a device used to control temperature, equipped with capillaries to measure ambient temperature, thereby achieving temperature control and adjustment. Capillary tubes, as an important component of temperature controllers, play a crucial role in accurate temperature measurement and control. Therefore, the correct capillary connection method is crucial for the use of temperature controllers.

Acceptable situations
Capillary tubes are mainly composed of metal pipes, liquid temperature sensing media, resistance core tubes, and other parts. In general, the capillary of the temperature controller can be connected to the compressor return pipeline or the evaporator outlet of the peripheral condenser to obtain the most accurate temperature measurement data. However, during the connection process, the following points need to be noted:

1. Capillary tubes cannot be connected to any pipeline;

2. The connection point needs to be sealed to avoid gas and liquid leakage;

3. The length of the capillary should not be too long, generally not exceeding 6 meters;

4. The capillary should not have too much bending to avoid liquid blockage.

Connection steps
1. Place the center point of the capillary tube in the measurement area and temporarily clamp the two ends of the capillary tube with plastic tubes;

2. Drill a hole in the pipeline that needs to be connected and connect the capillary tube to the hole position;

3. Close the slot between the holes and secure the capillary tube at the other end to the thermostat.
