1. Uses
Generally, there will be rotary switches for those old traditional TVs, and the area of rotation will have a certain range, so the resistance value plays a role in changing the contact switch. Nowadays, electric fans have several gears, so the rotary switch has several sets of lead wires. It changes the speed of different gears by changing the number of coils wound on the fan resistor. The structural forms of rotary switches are single-pole units and multi-level units. The single-pole unit structure is used with shaft-type electrical appliances, and most multi-level unit rotary switches are used in line switching places.
2. Features
This type of switch has two types of design structures. The distinction between these two types is MBB contact type and BBM contact type. The characteristic of the MBB contact type is that when changing positions, the moving contact is in contact with the front and rear contacts, and then it will disconnect the front contact and maintain contact with the rear contact. The characteristic of the BBM contact type is that when changing positions, the moving contact will first disconnect the front contact, and then connect the rear contact. In this conversion process, there is a state that is disconnected from both the front and rear contacts.
